"Community Wellness"
Volley 4 Life is a community event put on by Positive Vibes Community Group to promote health, wellness, exercise, unity and a better relationship/understanding with the community and the local First Responders through the game of volley ball.
" I learned in Fire School that when everyone else is running away from danger First Responders are running towards it and that's why it is important to acknowledge and honor them..." said Coach JT
This powerful event brings so many people together from so many different walks of life. It was line dancing, community speakers, free BBQ, vendors, games, face painting and honoree ceremonies. One of the best highlights was the local Millville Police Officers joining in for the dancing, volley ball and basketball games with the community. From watching how the kids interacted with them you can tell that made their day. They along with Kirk Hewitt, Ofc Dion Colvin of Vineland even helped hold the net sturdy from falling over so the games could run smoother! That in itself sums up what this event is all about.
There were some very powerful individuals and entities of the community honored and acknowledged. Reisha Armstead "Excellent Community Service" Dion Colvin "Officer Of The Year", Dr. Pamela Moore "Educational Excellence Award", Raynard Gross "Pillar Of The Community Award", Millville Police, Fire, EMS, Explorers and Chaplains "Excellent Community Service Award" Isaiah Showell "Positive Media Award"
Positive Vibes hopes that events like this will cause for people to take their health more serious. They would like for everyone to get regular check ups to make sure everyone stays around for a long time to make the community a better place to live. Also, its about giving local entrepreneurs and community programs an opportunity to promote their business. There were over 20 vendors set up!
"The Great DJ JROCK"

"Pamela Matusz Arroliga Doing A Great Job Face Painting"
"I'm Pretty Sure That's Not How It Goes"
